Admiral Young Driver runs 800 event days a year for 150,000 children and young adults. Those aged 10-17 will learn in the Corsa, with 5 to 10 year olds taught in new mini electric cars created by Young Driver. Fitted with dual controls, the five-door Corsa SRi VX-Line 1.4-litre (90PS) ecoFLEX models feature a five-speed manual transmission, six airbags and electronic stability control.
As well as the Corsas, Vauxhall’s branding will appear on leaflets, welcome packs, drive diaries, vouchers, on drive videos, posters and in cinema ads. To celebrate the new partnership, Vauxhall will show one of the Young Driver Corsas at their stand at the 2017 Goodwood Festival of Speed which starts on Thursday.

Research shows that 20 per cent of newly-qualified drivers will crash within six months of passing their test. For youngsters who have taken Young Driver lessons, this drops to under ten per cent. This supports Swedish research which shows that accident rates plummet when drivers take lessons at a younger age.
